Job Description:
Fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join a globally recognised, market-leading manufacturer of premium truck-mounted cranes, renowned for innovation, engineering excellence, and uncompromising quality. With decades of industry expertise and a strong reputation across construction, utilities, logistics, and specialist transport sectors, this business continues to set the benchmark for performance and reliability.
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Area Sales Manager to take ownership of the Northern UK territory.
Responsibilities of the Role:
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across Northern England
• Manage and grow relationships with truck dealers, bodybuilders, fleet operators, and end users
• Identify and convert new business opportunities
• Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations
• Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
Requirements of Role:
• Proven field sales experience (capital equipment, commercial vehicles, truck bodybuilders, truck installation, or related sectors preferred)
• Candidates with an engineering background looking to progress into sales are also encouraged to apply
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand engineered products
• Full UK driving licence
