Self-Employed MWB Couriers with your own van and relevant insurances.

(we are also looking for candidates without a van which will be provided.)

We are seeking self-employed MWB couriers to join our night-time delivery team. The successful candidates will be responsible for efficiently and safely delivering parcels during night shifts, ensuring timely service for our clients. This role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to operate as an independent courier, managing your own schedule and vehicle.

Duties

• Collect parcels from designated warehouse or depot locations and verify delivery details
• Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Deliver parcels to various destinations within the assigned area during night hours
• Handle heavy lifting of packages, ensuring items are securely loaded and unloaded
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proof of delivery where required
• Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch teams regarding delivery status or issues
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, maintained, and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during deliveries

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience
• Valid driver’s licence suitable for operating a commercial vehicle
• Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy lifting tasks is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
• Good organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and meet deadlines
• Physical fitness to handle heavy packages and perform manual lifting tasks safely
