Job Title: Delivery Driver – Self Employed

• Location: Basingstoke
• Day Rate: £155 – 205 per day (Routes usually 8-9 hours)
• Working Days: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ( Early Start 6-7am)
• Part-time drivers to work on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday (Early Start 6-7 am)
• Starting Date – ASAP

We are a professional delivery service provider working in partnership with a leading fresh food company. As demand continues to grow, we are actively recruiting reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our expanding team.

The Role
As a Delivery Driver, you will represent our delivery service while distributing fresh food products on behalf of our client. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, customer-focused, and enjoy being on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh food orders safely and efficiently to customers
• Ensure all deliveries arrive on time and in excellent condition
• Load and unload goods with care
• Provide a professional and friendly service at every delivery
• Follow planned routes and schedules
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle
• Complete delivery records and handle payments if required

Requirements

• Full, valid driving licence (UK or EU) with less than 6 points
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Apple or Andriod device for use of delivery app
• Previous delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
• Good knowledge of local routes and navigation is beneficial but not essential
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry goods

Vehicle Options

• Hire vehicles can be provided for drivers who require one – subject to availability
• Owner drivers are also welcome to apply and use their own vehicles (LWB, for example, Mercedes Sprinter, Citroen Relay). Must have correct insurance cover.
