We’re looking for great individuals to join our driving team at our Johnstone, Inchinnan and Greenock depots. Whether you already hold a PCV driving qualification, or you’ve always wanted to get behind the helm of our fantastic fleet of buses, we have just the job for you.
You’ll be given all the support you need from our friendly team who will look out for you from day 1 through all of your time with the company – some of our colleagues have been here for more than 40 years!! We also provide continuing professional development and training – a number of our colleagues started as drivers and now are part of the management team.
What are the main duties of working as a McGill’s PCV Driver?

· Tackle any challenge with positivity, ensuring we deliver on every single journey
What can you bring to us:
· For our qualified PCV holders, you will need to hold a valid UK PCV driving license, held for longer than 6 months and with 6 or less penalty points and current Driver CPC qualification.
· For our trainee drivers, you will need to hold a valid UK car licence, held for longer than 6 months with 6 or less penalty points
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Excellent numeracy skills
· Embrace flexibility and adaptability
What we can offer you:
.Full and part time options available including 4 and 5 day working weeks
An excellent hourly rate of £15.26 on weekdays backshift, rising to £15.75 after 9pm, this then rises to £16.00 for all day Sunday.
· Holiday allowance 28 days holiday for 0-2 years of service, increasing with tenure
