We are looking for a professional, well-presented London-based chauffeur to join our team on a 4 days on / 4 days off rota.

This role is ideal for an experienced chauffeur who understands high standards of presentation, punctuality, discretion, hygiene, customer service and vehicle care. Military, police, ambulance, fire service or other emergency services experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential.

Position Details

Working Schedule:

Pay: £15 per hour
Hours: 40–48 hours per week, depending on business demand
Rota: 4 days on / 4 days off
Shift length: Shifts can last up to 12 hours during busier periods
Location: London-based role. Applicants must live in London.

• One fixed day off between Monday to Thursday
• 8–12 hour shifts per day
• Approximately 25–30 working days per month or if you wish to work longer days

A 2024 or newer TfL-compliant hybrid or fully electric vehicle will be supplied by the company.

The vehicle will be shared with another driver working the opposite rota. The successful applicant must have suitable space to safely keep the vehicle during their shift/allocated period and must be able to complete proper handovers with the other driver.

No vehicle expenses for the chauffeur

The chauffeur has no vehicle expenses to pay.

The company covers:

• Vehicle rent
• Insurance
• Fuel or electric charging
• Parking costs where authorised
• Car washing
• Water for washing
• Maintenance
• Servicing
• Tyres
• Vehicle cleaning supplies
• Client water
• Tissues
• Other approved vehicle/client expenses

The driver is not expected to pay for vehicle running costs out of their own pocket.

Duties

The role includes:

• Chauffeuring clients safely, professionally and punctually
• Maintaining a clean, presentable and comfortable vehicle
• Carrying out basic daily vehicle checks
• Keeping the vehicle charged or fuelled as required
• Completing handovers with the other driver
• Presenting yourself to a professional chauffeur standard at all times
• Assisting passengers when appropriate
• Maintaining discretion, confidentiality and calm conduct
• Reporting any vehicle issues immediately
• Following company standards for dress, hygiene, cleanliness and customer service

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Minimum 3 years’ chauffeur experience
• Strong knowledge of London roads and routes
• Excellent timekeeping
• Professional personal presentation
• Strong personal hygiene standards
• Understanding of how a chauffeur should dress and conduct themselves
• Ability to wear appropriate chauffeur attire, including suit, shirt, tie and smart shoes where required
• Careful, smooth and safe driving style
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to keep the vehicle clean and presentable
• Ability to share and hand over the vehicle properly with another driver
• London residency
• Valid driving licence
• TfL/PCO licence where required for the work being carried out

Military, police, ambulance, fire service or other emergency services background is welcomed, but not essential.

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be reliable, discreet, well-groomed, calm under pressure and experienced in professional chauffeur work. They should understand that presentation, hygiene, punctuality, vehicle cleanliness and client comfort are essential parts of the job.
