We are seeking a reliable and experienced Road Sweeper Driver to join our team in Cambridge. Responsibilities

• Operate road sweeping machinery safely and efficiently across various routes in Cambridge
• Conduct routine inspections of the equipment to ensure optimal functioning
• Follow scheduled routes and adhere to traffic regulations and safety standards
• Perform basic maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment or materials when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and route logs
• Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle after each shift and report any damages or concerns

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with roadsweepers
• Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence suitable for operating large vehicles
• Previous experience as a Roadsweeper is advantageous
• Ability to operate specialised street cleaning machinery with confidence and safety awareness
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, follow schedules, and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations relevant to urban road maintenance
