Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Food Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food orders promptly and courteously to customers, ensuring a positive experience. This role requires excellent driving skills, good communication, and the ability to handle deliveries efficiently across various locations. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport food orders to customers’ addresses within designated areas
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high customer service standards
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays
• Handle cash or electronic payments where applicable, and manage order documentation accurately
• Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle at all times
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Report any issues or concerns related to deliveries or vehicle maintenance promptly

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Valid driving licence, ideally with experience in commercial driving or operating larger vehicles such as lorries or vans
• Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy lifting is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools is beneficial but not mandatory
