3 month SEO Copywriter Internship

Paying £2,066.66 per month

Office-based role in Dorking

The business has subsequently grown both organically and through a series of acquisitions and now has unrivalled reach into its market through retail stores nationwide, multiple ecommerce channels and wholesale distribution to some of the UK’s top retail brands.

About the Role:

The SEO Copywriter is responsible for supporting the PR & SEO Executive in writing and implementing SEO optimised category content, based on content plans, on the product website. They will also support in creating SEO optimised content for blogs, product pages, meta data and image alt text.

Responsibilities of the SEO Copywriter:

  • Creating new SEO category content for the website, with the support of the PR & SEO Executive, based on content plans from our external agency. Ensuring they are fully optimised for Google and AI, with well written content, correct keywords, meta titles/descriptions, and internal linking.
  • Creating new blogs for the website, with the support of the PR & SEO Executive. Using the skyscraper technique and ensuring fully optimised for Google and AI.
  • Supporting in fixing technical SEO content on the website, including redirects, incorrect internal linking and missing/incorrect meta data.
  • Supporting in preparing for our 2027 website migration to Shopify, where needed.
  • Ad hoc website administrative and reporting tasks.

About You:

  • A degree in a related field.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
  • Able to work well within the E-Commerce team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fast learner with a capacity to work independently
  • SEO or copywriting knowledge/experience is preferred
  • Excellent written and skills
