My client is looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Head of Marketing to lead and deliver a high-impact marketing strategy across its pensions and employee benefit trust services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B marketer who thrives on combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution and wants to play a pivotal role in driving business growth.
Working closely with senior leaders across marketing, business development, and client teams, you’ll be responsible for creating integrated campaigns that generate leads, strengthen brand positioning, and support ambitious growth objectives within a highly respected organisation.

The Opportunity
As Head of Marketing, you’ll take ownership of developing and delivering a multi-channel marketing strategy that supports business growth across pensions governance, trusteeship, and employee benefit trust services.
You’ll lead from the front – shaping strategy, driving digital innovation, supporting business development activity, and mentoring a talented marketing team. This role offers significant visibility across the organisation and the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders while delivering measurable commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth ambitions and business objectives.
• Partner closely with Business Development, product, and service leaders to create integrated campaigns that generate opportunities and support revenue growth.
• Lead and optimise multi-channel marketing activity across digital, content, PR, events, social media, website, and video marketing.
• Drive lead generation through effective use of marketing platforms, CRM systems, website optimisation, and social channels.
• Champion data-driven marketing, leveraging insights to improve campaign performance and support sales conversion.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all internal and external communications.
• Support business development teams with proposals, tenders, presentations, and pitch materials, helping to improve win rates and conversion.
• Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, acting as a credible ambassador for the business.
• Coach and develop members of the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring maximum return on investment and measurable impact.

About You
We’re looking for a strategic marketer with strong leadership credentials and a proven track record of delivering successful B2B marketing campaigns within professional services, financial services, pensions, or related sectors.
You’ll bring:

• Significant experience leading multi-channel B2B marketing programmes.
• Strong digital marketing expertise, including website strategy, SEO, AEO, GEO, AIO, social media, content, and video marketing.
• Experience creating compelling proposals, tender responses, and client pitches.
• A solid understanding of the UK pensions, employee benefits, financial services, or professional services landscape.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage with senior leaders and external audiences.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• A collaborative leadership style, with experience coaching and developing marketing talent.
