Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

• Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients and customers.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring punctuality.
• Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.
• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from recipients, maintaining accurate records of deliveries made.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients upon delivery.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with knowledge of flatbed operations.
• Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles.
• Experience in commercial driving, demonstrating safe and responsible vehicle handling.
• Ability to navigate using GPS or traditional maps efficiently.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries within deadlines.
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
• Physically capable of loading, unloading, and handling goods as required. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their driving skills and delivering outstanding service while maintaining safety standards at all times.

Pay: £97.68-£219.33 per day
