As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and promptly while ensuring a pleasant experience throughout their journey.

Duties

• Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of local streets, traffic patterns, and points of interest to provide efficient routes.
• Assist passengers with heavy luggage or other items as needed.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order before each shift.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle’s condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with passengers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while prioritising passenger safety at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience as a driver, preferably with commercial driving or delivery driver experience.
• Strong driving skills with a valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with passengers and address any inquiries or concerns.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance to ensure the taxi remains in optimal condition.
