Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pharmaceutical supplies and medication to various healthcare facilities and clients in a timely and safe manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, organisational abilities, and strong communication to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. The Pharmacy Driver will play a vital part in maintaining the efficiency of our pharmacy services while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.

Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of medication orders, following all route schedules.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of pharmaceutical products.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, pharmacy staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues.
• Maintain a clean and organised vehicle to ensure safety and efficiency during deliveries.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, especially within pharmacy or healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of loading or unloading deliveries.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
• Proven reliability with a good driving record and adherence to safety standards.
