We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including flatbed lorries, across designated routes
• Load and unload goods with care, ensuring items are secure during transit
• Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and minimise delays
• Verify delivery orders and obtain signatures upon receipt from customers
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving background
• Familiarity with flatbed vehicles and handling various types of cargo
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
• Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps confidently
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating punctuality and reliability

Pay: £97.68-£217.84 per day
