​The Role: What You’ll Be Doing

​This is a varied, dynamic role. You will be splitting your time between our comfortable, air-conditioned reception, out on the road and supporting in the workshop. Your main goal is to keep things moving so our mechanics can focus on what they do best.

• ​Driving & Logistics: Collecting and delivering customer vehicles, taking cars to the local MOT station for testing, fetching parts from local suppliers and other general logistic tasks.
• ​Customer Front-Line (Triage): Greeting customers face-to-face in reception and answering phone calls. You’ll act as our frontline, taking clear messages and booking details to hand over to the team where you can’t deal with yourself.
• ​Support: Carrying out general housekeeping throughout and assisting the technicians with small, tasks to maximize garage efficiency.
• ​Helping Hand: Doing whatever you are safely capable of to help the business succeed—even the smallest tasks make a massive difference to us!

Who We Are Looking For

​Attitude over experience! While experience in the motor trade is a fantastic bonus, it is not a strict requirement. We can train you on the technical stuff; what we can’t train is a great personality. If you have zero experience or nervous you don’t meet the criteria, we insist you get in touch, because if you’re proactive, willing to learn and adapt, you might find a role you really enjoy.

​Essential Requirements:

• ​A friendly, approachable attitude and excellent communication skills.
• ​Full, ideally clean, UK driving license (essential for vehicle collection/delivery).
• ​A proactive mindset—someone who sees a task that needs doing and jumps in.
• ​An eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• ​The Ideal Match: This role would perfectly suit a highly experienced Service Advisor (perhaps with past mechanical experience) who wants to slow down a bit, vary their day with some driving, and enjoy a fulfilling role where their expertise is genuinely respected and valued. ​Equally, if you have strong retail/customer service experience and a confident driver, we want to hear from you!

** We would also consider a highly experienced technician as an alternative to this role freeing up myself, the owner, to carry out these duties instead, salary would be negotiable but I’d recommend getting in touch for a chat if you’re interested.
