**Previous dray delivery experience is an advantage**

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver’s Mate / Assistant to play a vital role in our distribution service.

✅ WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
• Accompany a driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to customers’ homes
• Maintain regular contact with the Transport Team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident
• Liaise with customers to confirm delivery times and complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

✅ WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• High levels of manual handling are required so you need to be physically fit
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions and instructions
• Connect easily to M6, M42, A4091, local to B46 1TT
• Previous practical experience as a Driver’s Mate, within a logistics or similar environment would be preferable
• Have your own transport to be able to start your shift between 04:00-09:00
