Events Assistant job at London Full Time

EVENTS ASSISTANT
We are working with an exciting and highly regarded legal firm seeking an Events Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will provide additional support to a busy events function, assisting with the delivery of both internal and external events and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, organised and eager to get stuck in. No two days will be the same, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, can adapt quickly to changing priorities and is happy to roll up their sleeves wherever needed.

EVENTS ASSISTANT ROLE:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of internal and external events
• Assisting with company-wide lunches, networking events, conferences and trade shows
• Coordinating event logistics, including venues, catering, suppliers and attendee communications
• Supporting budget tracking and expense management
• Managing event administration, invitations, registrations and attendee lists
• Assisting with event set-up and on-the-day coordination
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Providing general support to the wider events and marketing team as required

EVENTS ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:

• Previous experience in events or coordination roles
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Happy working full-time in the office in Central London
• Positive attitude with a willingness to support wherever needed
