Multi Drop Delivery Driver job at Hengoed Full Time

We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team, covering deliveries across Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bristol, and the Heads of the Valleys.

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver cleaning chemicals and hygiene products safely and efficiently to our customers, in line with scheduled routes and any specific delivery instructions. As a key representative of the business, you will be expected to deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.

You will be employed directly by the company, with a company van provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and promptly report any issues to the Warehouse Manager
• Complete multi-drop deliveries accurately and to a consistently high standard
• Deliver products to designated areas on customer premises, following any special instructions
• Carefully check delivery notes and cross-reference stock to ensure correct products are delivered
• Record and report any discrepancies to the office in a timely manner
• Obtain customer signatures on delivery notes; where this is not possible, capture photographic proof of delivery
• Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently while allowing sufficient time for vehicle loading for subsequent routes
• Assist warehouse staff with loading vans when deliveries are completed
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the delivery vehicle at all times
• Comply fully with health and safety procedures, including the safe handling and transportation of chemicals
• Carry out on-site dispenser installations when required (full training provided)

Personal Specification

• Proven experience in a multi-drop delivery role (essential)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• Sound knowledge of delivery-related health and safety procedures
• A flexible, team-oriented approach, with the ability to work as part of a small team
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Working hours 8am – 5pm

Pay: £27,972.00 per year
