Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely completion of all scheduled drops.
• Load and unload goods, including handling heavy items with care and proper lifting techniques.
• Ensure accurate delivery of packages to the correct recipients at each location.
• Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any issues encountered during routes.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and receipts.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by representing the company professionally during interactions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with multi-drop routes.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, often involving bulky or heavy items.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Good organisational skills to plan routes and manage time effectively.

Pay: £97.68-£217.84 per day
