Front of House Porter
Location – The Portland Hospital, Great Portland Street, London
Permanent, Full time, 40 hours/week. Monday – Sunday various shifts between 7:00 – 21:30. On the very rare occasion, you may be asked to cover a night shift (20:00 – 8:00)
Salary – £30,784 per annum + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)
We’re looking for a Porter to join our Front of House team based at The Portland Hospital. Working within one of the UK’s leading private healthcare facilities, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the hospital while helping to deliver an exceptional experience for patients, visitors and colleagues.
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll support departments across the hospital with portering, security, patient transport and logistics duties, helping to ensure services run safely, smoothly and efficiently at all times.
As a Porter you’ll provide professional support across the hospital environment, assisting patients and visitors while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence. From supporting emergency response teams and managing waste streams, to transporting patients and assisting with deliveries across site, your work will make a real difference to the overall patient journey. You’ll become part of a collaborative and supportive team where professionalism, compassion and teamwork are valued every day.
