Marketing Executive (Entry-Level) job at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk Full Time

We are recruiting for an entry-level Marketing Executive on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing organisation based in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in marketing, with training provided directly by the business.
This role offers hands-on experience across digital, content, campaigns, and events, working closely with the marketing team to support day-to-day activity and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels
• Assist with website updates, ensuring content accuracy and usability
• Create and proofread content including blogs, emails, and case studies
• Support social media activity and content coordination
• Upload and manage website content via CMS (e.g. WordPress)
• Assist with basic SEO tasks (metadata, links, optimisation)
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to gather information
• Support webinars, events, and marketing initiatives
• Maintain marketing trackers and internal documentation
• Monitor shared inboxes and escalate where needed
• Assist with competitor research and general marketing admin

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn and develop in marketing
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Interest in marketing or business
• Familiarity with social media, particularly LinkedIn
• Basic awareness of digital marketing
